the prisoner states he stopped the payments.
It is absurd and untrue that a man should say that I came to annoy his folkies in La Baох in 1894 when I was stationed at No.1 Station and had no duty or anything to do with the Central District. Then a statement that he continued payments for 15 months after I left the Central District is highly improbable. I have never received money from any man named A Yung or A Fak. Nor was I aware that any gambling was going on in Wa Lane. As for my annoying his folkies it is false and untrue.
He states that he went and offered money to A Puk and there is no Chinaman that will refuse to take dollars when they are offered to him,
If as he states he paid this money to A Yung or A Fak they must have converted it to their own use as it has never reached me.
