Inspector Corcoran states:- I have never received or bribes. I have no... I have never authorised anyone to receive money in my name. I have no control over the gambling houses, never, and I did not know of the existence of one in the Colony. I never applied for a licence. I have never received any information respecting gambling houses. I have not executed a gambling warrant for the last 2 or 3 years. I have practically nothing to do with gambling. I have nothing further to add.
