RLC 22 IV 7

Upon further consideration the sub-committee recommend.

(a) As to passages:-

That in the special circumstances passages be granted on condition the men are willing to leave the Colony.

(b) As regards pensions:-

In cases of Macaulay, Molver and Graham, as these men would not in the ordinary course be entitled to pensions unless they were respectively re-enlisted for another period of five years, and as there is no obligation to re-enlist these men and such re-enlistment would not be approved by the Captain Superintendent of Police, there seems no reason why pensions should be given to these men.

Dated 8th October, 1897.

(3a.) H. Bilsdale,

W. Meigh Goodman.

O. P. Chater.
