They think this course preferable to allowing a suspected man to remain in the force.
The sub-committee desire to add that it should be understood that European Police officers whom they recommend should be allowed to retire on the terms suggested as to pensions are not expected to remain in the Colony. The recommendations as to pensions are made on the assumption the men are willing to leave Hongkong.
