3. Mr. da Rocha recalled states:- I am afraid
I made a mistake yesterday when I said it was at the Signal Station that I handed back the money. It was not at the Signal Station but at the house of a friend in Upper Ladder Street.
I paid interest on the loan to Utter Singh for 6 or 7 months. I used to pay $3.50 a month.
4. Utter Singh states:- I admit the truth of everything that the witness has stated.
The money that was lent was not mine. It was the money of Excise Officer Gunda Singh employed in the Opium Farm. I do not know where Gunda Singh is residing now.
Recommended for dismissal.
