There is no real reason why the definition of salary in the W. 80. Pension Fund Order should be identical with the definition in the Pension Minute; and the present Ordinance does not (as the A.G. seems to imply) make the two definitions alike. In this Ordinance the words "allowance for Conveyance" are inserted, which are not in the Pension Minute.
The anomaly referred to in the 2nd enclosure (marked paragraph) is of no great importance, & affects very few cases;
