against Inspector Hore, who while going round on a dusty inspector's duty came across a gambling house in Wa Love.
His interpreter, Cheng Ut Po, whose name appears on the list and was seized by Mur may have been bribed on Hore's behalf, (see pages Euel K 20053/97) then offered Mr Hore bribes to hold his tongue as to the Gambling House, and not to interfere there in future. Thereupon, on two occasions, he refused. Chang Ut Po then approached:
