I am directed to convey to you His Excellen-
cy the Governor's instructions to interdict Mr.Osmund of
your department from the exercise of the powers and func-
tions of his office in accordance with Colonial Office Regu
lation No.88.
Mr.Osmund will be furnished with a statement
in writing of the ground of his suspension from duty at the
earliest possible date, and he will be afforded an opportuni
ty of exculpating himself from the charges preferred against
him in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Colo-
nial Office Regulations regarding suspension from office.
