From two different quarters, at different times, the following information has been given me & I think it my duty to pass it on to you.
1. There is in Hong Kong a well-recommended gambling house keeper, named Sam Ah Cha. This party's houses are Lum Ah Chee, Lun...
2. They have fully organised gambling establishments constantly going on in Taiping Shan, Lan Hor Street, and other houses in the same street to which they periodically move. All these houses have special exits into other houses behind and at the sides, especially through a brothel at the back.
3. The Lum Kee sailors' stop shop, in a street leading downhill from Taipingshan, is a sort of depot or headquarters & in a large chest to be found in the upper floor of this house are gambling account books, watches, rings, and other jewelry and valuables won from gamblers.
