Accordingly before we broke up, I had asked for the principal person who had acted as his Agents in bribing the most important Officers.

I am giving below the 10 names and in every case the name of the Agent who actually paid the bribe given in List I corresponds with that in the list.

The next morning therefore I asked for punishment orders to be issued under Section 19 of Ord 7 of 1891 against the following 10 persons.

1. P.S. 190 Jane Ching (vide p.10 244 of Sam Juris statement) bribed P.S. 431 Toll, A23. Matour, & Suck Quinary

2. Cafe (idem) bribed Tang Chung

3. Ising Ul. Po. (vide p. 5 of statement) bribed Suck Hook: Dres of

4. Wan Sing. (vide p. 6 of Statement) bribed M. Edmund.

5. Ackfurt (p. 7.) Bribed Surgh Int. Ayan Cheung Tie Yin- (Chung to.).

6. Jangkam (p. 12 &13) concerned in bribing Insp Mitchell, bribed several Chinese Police.

7. Chi Tsai kam (p. 16:20 under "paid to Kam") bribed various Chinese Police, Sergeant Foord.

8. Jungtis (p. 17) concerned in bribing Acting Supt Hall.

9. Yung Fat (p. 22.) Bribed the Act. S.P. Inspector Stanton, Bacher, & Shennessy.

10. Ching On (l.h. 30. 17+23) bribed Jun p Witchell.

There were four other Agents whose names came out afterwards in the course of Sam Juris examination.
