25. The Committee may at any time convene an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Club, or upon the written request of ten members of the Club, specify

The Committee are, subject to those authorized to make such Bye-laws and the notice convening the meeting they may deem advisable, for the playing or objects for which the meeting is in Hongkong, and all such Bye-laws and to which the discussion must be considered obligatory on all members and Visitors.

If any member violates the Rules or Bye-laws of the Club, or if his conduct shall be altered or varied, except at a General or Extraordinary General Meeting composed of not less than ten Members, whether in or out of the Club, shall, in the opinion of the Committee, or of any ten of the Club (who shall certify the same in writing to the Committee), be injurious to the character or interests of the Club, the Committee shall, after enquiry and notice given, be empowered to recommend such member to resign. If such member so recommended shall not resign within fourteen days from the date of such notice, the Committee may call an Extraordinary General Meeting, giving at least seven clear days' notice, at which it shall be competent for two-thirds of those voting to expel such member from the Club, and no appeal shall lie from their decision.

26. Nothing in these Rules confers on Non-Resident Members any right to take part in the management of the Club, nor to vote at any meeting.

27. All General and Extraordinary General Meetings shall be called, either by circular posted and addressed to the members, or through the medium of public communication, giving at least seven clear days' notice of the meeting.

28. The Chairman may, with the consent of the meeting, adjourn any meeting from time to time and from place to place.
