12. Any member may withdraw introduction of a member for 14 days the Club by giving notice in writing to Secretary to that effect at any time to the commencement of a year; otherwise, he will be held liable for that year's subscription.
6. A member introducing a visitor shall be liable for any debt owing by such visitor to the Club.
Management.
The management of the affairs of the Club shall be vested in a Committee.
The Committee shall consist of a Treasurer, a Secretary and 4 members to be annually elected at a General Meeting of the Club, and the Committee shall elect one of themselves or any other member of the Club to be Treasurer and in the latter case the member so elected shall be ex officio a member of the Committee. The name of the Treasurer when elected shall be entered in the Minute Book and shall be notified to members by circular or advertisement.
Visitors.
7. Gentlemen, who may temporarily visit Hongkong, may be admitted by the Committee to the privileges of the Club without payment, and thereafter on payment of one dollar a month, payable in advance, but such visitors shall not be members and shall have no voice in the management of the Club. The Committee are empowered to define what shall be the definition of a visitor, and at any time to withdraw the privileges accorded to a visitor.
13. Any person, who shall for any reason cease to be a member, shall nevertheless remain liable for, and shall pay to, the Club all monies which at the time of ceasing to be a member shall be due from him to the Club.
Honorary Members.
14. The Governor of the Colony, Lieutenant-Governor, and the Naval and Military Commanders-in-Chief for the time being, shall be invited to become patrons or Honorary Members of the Club and as such shall be entered in the books of the Club as Honorary Members, and shall have all the privileges of the Club, without any of the liability of Members, but shall have no voice in the management of the Club.
15. Gentlemen who may temporarily visit Hongkong may be admitted by the Committee to the privileges of the Club.
