One black ball in three to exceed three months or more in any one year shall appeal to lie to a General Meeting able to pay one half the annual subscription for the year in question.

6. On the admission of a member, a member who shall be elected on or before the 1st of July in any year shall pay the annual subscription for the year. The fact shall be notified to him in writing by the Secretary, and a copy of the Rules and By-laws of the Club, with the amount of the entrance fee, and for the year's subscription shall be forwarded to him.

6. Members shall be divided into classes—Resident and non-Resident: the former shall pay an entrance fee of dollars in advance.

7. The subscription for a Resident member shall be six dollars per annum in advance on the 1st January in each year: that for non-Resident members shall be six dollars per annum, payable yearly in advance on 1st January and July.

If the entrance fee of any member, or subscription due for any year or half year, as the case may be, shall remain unpaid for two calendar months, the Treasurer shall, by a notice in writing, call his attention to the fact, and unless such member pays his subscription and entrance fee (if any) within one calendar month from the date of such notice, his name shall be removed from the list of members, unless he shall justify his delay to the satisfaction of the Committee.

8. A member absent from the Colony for the whole of any one year shall not be liable for any subscription for the year during which he is absent. A member shall pay his entrance fee, subscription, and any claim the Club may have against him.
