I consider the address presented to Her Majesty by the Jubilee Committee as a most gratifying indication of the universal esteem and respect in which Her Majesty is held by the residents in this distant Colony—both British and Foreign—and I consider that much credit is due to the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. C. P. Chater, to the Honorary Treasurer, Mr. T. Jackson, and to the Honorary Secretary, Mr. Stewart-Lockhart, whose energy and influence have so largely contributed to assuring the success of the forthcoming celebrations in Her Majesty's honour.
I have the honour to be,
Your most Obedient
Humble Servant,
William Robinson
