I have however to point out that the repeal of Sections 42, 43, 46, 48 & 49 of Ord: 4 of 1865, together with the previous repeal of Sections 44 & 45 of that Ord. has a somewhat awkward effect leaving a gap in an Ordinance which purports to consolidate the law of offences against the Person.
