(2.) The Resolution of the Legislative Council, passed on the 12th day of April, 1894, to the effect that, "Part II of the Women and Girls' Protection Ordinance, 1890," shall continue in force for a further period of five years, is also hereby repealed.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance entitled :- "An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the Laws relating to the protection of Women and Girls," and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
I refer to my printed Minute on the Ordinance which deals fully with the various sections of the Ordinance which seem to require explanation.
