I understand that the duties of the Secretary to the Board were performed for several years by Dr Eitel, as part of the duties of his office, Inspector of Schools, without extra pay; Dusseldorf suggests that at present, though not prepared to recommend any further guarantee on the subject, the newly appointed Inspector of Schools should also discharge the duties in question without receiving any additional remuneration.
