The Captain Superintendent of Police has strongly urged the desirability of his being attached to some large Police Force in England while at home and has suggested the Liverpool Force as a most suitable one for the purpose, it being understood that in that Force M. Badeley, in addition to gaining experience of Police Work, would have an opportunity of observing the most improved methods in Fire Brigade work. I consider the Captain Superintendent of Police's proposal a very good one and I beg to request that you will be so good as to afford M. Badeley any advice and assistance in your power in carrying it out.
