Having received your sanction to the proposals I addressed a letter, copy of which see Encl. I now forward, to the Honorary Secretary of the Jubilee Committee. This letter was laid before a meeting of the Committee yesterday.
I transmit an account of the proceedings of the Committee, from which it will be seen that, with the exception of two dissentients, they unanimously resolved to adopt the 3 schemes to which I have specially referred.
When it is recognized that this decision involves an ultimate expenditure of over £30,000, it is hardly necessary
