Mr Chadwick's suggestion to engage one Inspector only, at a much higher rate of salary, does not commend itself to the Sanitary Board, the members of which report that what is wanted is not so much increased supervision, as a redistribution of the city into a larger number of smaller health districts than exist under the present arrangement.
