Sir,
Hongkong, 5th January, 1897.
I have the honour to report that there is every prospect of the arrangements in the Jung Wa Hospital working well.
Already several cases - surgical cases directly under the treatment of Dr Chung; while one medical case is directly under him, and two others have consented to removal. A case of spinal curvature with paralysis is to go to Government Civil Hospital, and one of necrosis of jaw to Alice Memorial Hospital.
There seems a willingness on the part of the Directors to co-operate with Dr Chung in the carrying out of my suggestions.
