I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 14th. September and to inform you in reply that, in consequence of the non-payment of the Crown Rent, Kowloon Inland Lot No.350 was re-entered upon, and was resold by the Government in December last, and I am to express His Excellency the Governor's regret that, under the circumstances, your request cannot be complied with.
