Having lately arrived home on leave from Hong Kong, I have to refer to the following application for your kind consideration.
Some twelve months ago I forwarded an application through His Excellency the Governor of Hong Kong for transfer to a coolie house, and the grounds of domestic matters, and owing to which the Retrenchment Committee having proposed that the offices of Superintendent of Crown Lands should be abolished as from as early a date as possible,
an application has already been forwarded to Sir R. H. Meade, K.C.B., Under Secretary of State for Her Majesty's Colonies.
