from the Irish Constabulary

are allowed to count

their previous

service

in the latter Force for

retirement from

Colonial Force, and

if this is the case and

an endeavour is made

to effect

a similar

Arrangement for other

Colonies, I trust that

the interests of

Hongkong

officers in

the

Police Force,

will be included

in such arrangement.

The advantage that

would accrue

from

Constabulary Force

officers joining a
