Jameson is the third Assistant master at Queen's College, & was appointed in 1897; I do not know that he has any special claim to it even in the event of the vacancy occurring to which he refers. Inform him that the vacancy in the Education Dept. has not occurred at present, but that should it occur his claim would be considered with those of other applicants for the post.
