With reference to your letter of 24th August,
169, relating to the export of iron pans from
this port, I have the honour to enclose for the
information of Her Majesty's Secretary of State
copy of a letter sent by me to Her Britannic Majesty's
Consul at Canton.
A copy of this letter has also been sent to
the Secretary of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.
