With reference to previous correspondence ending
with your letter of the 8th Ultimo, I am directed by the
Secretary of State for India in Council to forward a copy
of a Letter which has now been received from the
Dated 15th April 1896, No.96 (Finl.)
and enclosures.
Government of India, in which it
is stated that Mr. C.V. Creagh did not render so much as
one year of pensionable service in India; and that he is
consequently not eligible for any pension from Indian
revenues.
