In continuation of our letter of the 3rd January last,
I have the honour to report that the following four men have
been selected by Mr May and engaged by us for service in the
Police Force of Hong Kong.
(1) George Edward Bell
(2) Joe Sutton
(3) Mortimer O'Sullivan
(4) Michael Lynch

These men have signed the usual agreement, a copy of
which was enclosed in our letter above referred to, and they
have been provided with passages by the S.S. "Palinurus"
leaving Liverpool the 15th instant.
