and more frequently curved circums. lavcw require it; to make yourself fully acquainted with the diseases and treatment of all the patients in the hospital; to see that the premises are maintained in a cleanly and sanitary condition and that the patients are properly housed and fed and provided with the clean clothing necessary; to report to the Colonial Surgeon contagious or infectious cases which you may find in the hospital and to see that the regulations regarding such diseases are complied with; to point out to the resident doctors all cases which in your opinion are not being properly treated and to endeavour to prevail upon them to adopt the proper method of treatment.

Your correspondence with the Government must as a rule be forwarded through the Colonial Surgeon.

In conclusion I am to inform you that your appointment will not be pensionable and at any time may be terminated by the Government without compensation.
