Report by the Attorney General on despatch No 22 of 1896.
Attorney General's Office, Hong Kong 17 December 1876.
I have examined the necessary Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding $350,780 Million, "Three hundred and fifty thousand seven hundred and eighty dollars." to the public service of the year 1877, and I am of opinion that the ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
