He was discharged on the 13th June, but was again admitted on the 18th July and died on the 19th July. His death was certified to have been due to Heatstroke.

The balance of pay due to your brother for the month of July, after deducting messing and Canteen charges, Contribution to the Hospital and to the Widows and Orphans Pension Fund amounted to $16.89. This sum together with 37 cents, which was found among his property and the whole of his personal effects were duly handed over to the official Administrator.
3. I am also forwarding to you for your information a copy of the official Administrator's report from which you will see that claims have been received against your brother's property which exceed the balance of $16.48.
