With reference to your letter of the 7th October last requesting to be informed of the circumstances of the death of your brother, late Warder of the Victoria Gaol, Hong Kong, I am directed by Mr Secretary Chamberlain to inform you that your brother, Mr B. J. Kenny, was admitted to the Hospital on the 3rd June last suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea.
