The Director of Public Works is at present a Member of the Executive and Legislative Councils and of the Harbour Board, Chairman of the Sanitary Board, the Public Works and the Government Officials Committees, and conducts the whole of the official correspondence, including various reports on Engineering, surveying, that are from time to time called for by the Government.
