of the Executive Council, to grant to the Indian Police Force the privilege of remitting

half their pay home

to their families in India, at a fixed rate of exchange of £4 to Rs 100, which is the rate at which the Military Sikhs are allowed to remit, and the Government of India has kindly undertaken to arrange for the payment of the remittances to the men's relatives in India.
