I have examined the accompanying Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to amend and consolidate the law relating to the registration of Births and Deaths" and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
This Ordinance re-enacts certain provisions of the Births and Deaths Ordinance, 1872, which it repeals, and it also incorporates certain sections of the English Act for the registration of Births and Deaths (37 and 38 Vict., cap. 88) with such modifications as are necessary.
