It is 57 years of age and has 21 years actual service.

34. Therefore, he had remained in the service until he was 60 years of age, he would have had 30 years actual service and would have been entitled to a pension at the rate of 20/60 of his salary, namely 2/60 for the first ten years and 1/60 for each of the remaining 20 years.

35. I submit, therefore, that the grant of a pension at the rate of 10/60 of his salary is not contrary to Rule 12 of the Pension Minute, and I venture to hope that the decision conveyed in your despatch under reply may be reconsidered in Mr. Baird's favour.

I have the honour to be, Sir, Your Most Obedient Humble Servant, Willem Robinzer.
