Sir,
I have the honour to transmit for the signification of Her Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance to make better provision for the Sale of Food and Drugs in a pure state" (No. 18 of 1896).
2. The customary Report by the Attorney General is annexed, together with an annotated copy of the Ordinance, prepared by the Attorney General in accordance with the instructions contained in despatch No. 133 of 16th June last.
