Minister at Peking and myself on the subject of the expediency of amending the Chinese Extradition Ordinance in such a manner as to include offences of a political character in the list of crimes for which extradition may be allowed.
So far as this Colony is concerned, I see no objection to the proposed amendment of the Chinese Extradition Ordinance and I should be glad to receive your instructions on the subject.
