with a proportionate variation for any difference in height, rounded in front and edged with 1" black mohair braid all round and up the openings at the sides. On each side in front 4 double drop loops of " flat plait as shewn in the drawings. The top loops reaching to sleeve seams and the bottom ones 4" long. On each sleeve a crow's foot of flat plait 7" high from the bottom of the cuff. Double flat plait on each back sean. Pockets as for Superintendent. Hooks and eyes in front. Shoulder straps of the same material as the garment edged with black mohair braid. Collar 14” high edged at the top with "black mohair braid.
Dark-blue cloth straight up 3" high with band 14" black mohair braid. "Black patent leather peak straight out. Black netted button on the crown ornamented with braided eyes of "mohair braid. Badge V.R. and crown above in silver on the front.

As for Chief Inspector except that the cuff is Tracing . ornamented with a crow's foot of 4" white braid
in place of an Austrian knot.
