Black patent leather collapsible one line of silver wire embroidery inch wide and 4 inch from the edges, another line inside inch from outside line. Silver badge V.R. under crown. Silver ends and rings.

Blue cloth, 28 inches long from the bottom of the collar behind, for an Officer 5 feet 9 inches in height with a proportionate variation for any difference in height, rounded in front and edged with inch black mohair braid all round and up the openings at the side.
On each side in front 4 double drop loops of inch flat plait with eyes in the centre of each loop, the top loops reaching to the sleeve seams, and the bottom ones 4 inches long, 4 netted olivets on the right side, to fasten through the loops on the left. On each sleeve, an Austrian knot of flat plait 7 inches high from the bottom of the cuff. Double flat plait on each back seam, with crow's foot at top and bottom, and 2 double eyes at equal distances. Hook and eyes in front collar turned down. On each shoulder square cord loop with black netted button. A pocket on either side bound with plain braid 5 inches wide and 8 inches from the bottom of the jacket. Front edge 54 inches from the front of jacket.
Dark-blue cloth, straight up 3" high, with band of 1/4 black mohair braid oakleaf pattern. Black patent leather drooping peak ornamented with " full black embroidery. Black netted button and
Chief Inspector.
Dark-blue cloth with collar and cuffs of same Tunic. material. The collar 1/3" high edged all round Tracing E. with white buff cloth with a row of braided eyes in white braid round the top. The cuffs pointed and ornamented with an Austrian knot of 1" white braid extending to 1/2" from bottom of cuff, 5 buttons in front and 2 at the waist behind.
The skirt to be 10" long for an Officer 5 feet 9" high with a proportionate variation of 1 for each inch difference in height. The skirt to be rounded in front and open behind with a plait on each side. The front and opening behind to be edged with white cloth. The shoulder knot of twisted white braid with a button at the top.
