Whereas Complaint having this day been made before the undersigned, a MAGISTRATE of the said Colony, for that you on the
day of December A.D. 1895, at British Kowloon in this Colony unlawfully did Trespass
land under the control of the the Hung
upon
No. 12 of 1856 Military

And every such summons
shall be served by a constable
or other peace officer
upon the party to whom it
is directed by delivering
the same to the party
personally or by leaving it
at his last or usual place
of abode.
These are therefore to command you, in Her Majesty's name, to be and appear on the 10th day of December
1895, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, at the Police Court before such one of the MAGISTRATES as may
then be there, to answer to the said Complaint, and to be further dealt with according
to Law.

A Police Magistrate,
of the said Colony, do hereby certify, that I served
the summons mentioned in the above summons with a duplicate thereof, on the December 1895.
I, J. Witchell
Constable, do hereby certify that I served the summons mentioned in the above summons with a duplicate thereof, on the 9th December 1895.
J. Witchell swore :-
I am Acting Inspector of Police.
I served a copy of summons at 5.15 p.m. on board H.I.G.M. Ship "Great". I handed it to Capt. Lieut. Klimsi
who said he would give it to defendant on his return to ship.
