Under Secretary,
Two further applicants from the Irish Prisons Service have
volunteered for the Hong Kong Prison Service as the result of
the inquiries referred to in my minute of 29th ult.
One of these, namely, Warder B.J.Keaney, being well re-
ported on by his superior officer, the Governor of Belfast
Prison, is recommended for the appointment.
The usual particulars concerning him are attached, also
his original application.
