I have the honour,by direction of the Committee of
Lloyd's,to beg that you will be so good as to inform the
Secretary of State for the Colonies that a circular has bem
issued at Hong Kong,dated 9th August 1895,with regard to
stamping policies of insurance executed out of and made
payable in Hong Kong, in which reference is made to Ordinance
MO 16 of 1886.
I am to beg that you will be so good as to move the
Secretary of State for the Colonies to allow a copy of a
Ordinance No 16 of 1886, to be forwarded to this Office ab I
am informed that it cannot be obtained be obtained from the
Publishers.
For facility of reference I enclose a copy of the eirsular
referred to.
