23. The tanks will be erected above ground and the total height will not exceed 50 feet above Orl- nance Datum.
The tanks will be covered with water in order to protect contents from heat of the sun and in accor- dance with the Colonial Regulations.
24. We think the application should state your willingness to consent to the following conditions which were mentioned in the letter of Colonel Mulloy, Commanding Royal Engineer, as applying to the first site.
1. Removal when required by General Officer Comman- ding.

Emptying of tank.

Compliance with the regulations of the War Office Authorities for overground tanks mentioned in para-
graph 22.
5. To undertake not to allow of discharge of oil from tank ship nor mooring of tank ship at wharf on receipt of notice from General Officer Commanding.

We trust that the War Office Authorities will consent to the utilisation of the site proposed for
