Extract from report of Deputy Governor, Belfast Prison, dated
16th August, 1895.
Warder Mc Michael is a single man.
He has been in the
service since 1st March, 1893 when he joined at this prison.
Though a young man who showed at first but medium ability he
has developed in his comparatively short time in the service
into a Warder of first rate capacity.
He is a man of much
resource and tact in the management of prisoners, and has
shown a very marked aptitude in carrying on industrial and other
employments in the Prison.
Warder Mc Michael is a very respect
able young man, truthful and trustworthy.
