as to the gross evils inseparable from

opium traffic in the Far East, thanks then
have taken to investigate
for the pains they

and to bring home to
the British people the true nature of this traffic. urges Her Majesty's Government without further delay to give full affect to the resolution of the House of Commons which declared the ofsium traffic to be morally indefensible, by stopping the growth of the poppy and the export and sale of opium, except as required for medical use, throughout the British donimious in the Cast:
