the Secretary of State, that in accordance with a tele-
-gram dated the 25th instant which we received from the
Governor of Hong Kong we drew on the Colonial Treasurer
under yesterday's date, on demand for $400,000 realising

at the exchange of 2/24 per dollar the sum of £43,722.13.2
