Sir,
Referring to your letter dated the 20th October 1893,
I have the honour to report, for the information of the Sec-
retary of State/that in accordance with a telegram dated the
13th instant which we received from the Governor of Hong
Kong, we drew on the Colonial Treasurer under yesterday'$
date on demand for $200,000 realizing at the exchange of
28/ per dollar the sum of £21496-19-4.
