With reference to your letter of the 11th ultimo,
I have the honour to state that a copy of the report of the
Director of Works of Hong Kong on the proposed increase in
the storeage capacity of the Tytam Reservoir, was forwarded
by us to Mr Chadwick who is at present in Jamaica, with the
request that he would telegraph his decision as to the tvo
schemes, A and B, proposed. We have today received from
him the following telegram:-
"Tytam A approved".
