Afficers in this Colony. In India the time has been reduced to 18 years, I would point out that service in Stong kong is even more arduous than in India, the climate being quise
trying and the distance from England much greaks. For these reasons I trust that stis Excellency the Governor will be pleased to for. ward and strongly recommend this suggestion .
